Austin on Two Wheels (formerly Austin Bike Blog) is the online magazine for Austin cycling culture with a vision of covering all aspects of Austin’s cycling community. This is a place a where roadie, knobby tire, tri-geek, fixie, BMXer, and bike commuter can all come for interesting articles and resources. About the writers of Austin On Two Wheels
Elliott McFadden, Editor (elliott at austinbikeblog dot org)
Elliott McFadden has lived in Austin since 1992 and began biking again in 2002 after a self imposed moratorium on riding in response to a forced RAGBRIA ride by his father at the age of 14. Elliott is an avid bike commuter and triathlete as well as a bicycle frame builder. He covers most of the bike industry profiles, biking with kids, races, and writes the weekly column “Dumbest Product of the Week.” In addition to managing Austin on Two Wheels, he was the founder of Austin CarShare and is a principal in the political consulting firm, Ignite Consulting. He is married to Amy with two children, Miles and Clara (who show up in the biking with kids articles).
