Thank you to everyone who submitted pictures and voted in Austin Bike Blog’s “What’s the biggest thing you’ve carried on your bike?” Contest. It’s been a blast to see all the ways people have used their bikes to haul big things.
Chris from Madison, Wisconsin, our first prize winner, did a hell of a job campaigning and rounding up votes to win our contest in a landslide. Marcus and I might want to hire him to do some get of the vote work for our day jobs. We hope you enjoy your Brooks B17 saddle, Chris.
First Prize Winner of a Honey Brooks B17 Saddle- Chris from Madison, Wisconsin
Second Prize Winner of a copy of “City Cycling” by Richard Ballantine- Mark from Austin, Texas
Third Prize Winner of a 24oz White Polar Bottle- Mark (not the same Mark as above) with a roll of carpet
Thanks again to everyone who took the time submit their photos for all of us to enjoy.

Thanks for having the contest! It was fun, and I really enjoy the water bottle! SUPER nice! I am a transportation cyclist who rides to work 2-3 days a week (I only make 4 trips in 5 days) in most seasons. I was unhappy to find that when I went to start my car (that I drive in bad weather, which we have in Iowa in the winter) it would not run! ack! Must be something about being parked from May to October!
